3.Product feature and application

The round head nails transfer the load to the concrete through the round feet, so that a relatively high allowable load can be obtained with relatively short nails. Even when used in thin walls, loads can be effectively transferred to concrete and steel. Due to the symmetrical shape of the rounded shaft of the rivet, unlike other types of pre-embedded rivets/bolts, there is no need for special positioning when placing the rivets.

In theory, the longer the rivets can withstand larger loads because they can build larger concrete load cones. The failure analysis in the sling application is based on the strength of the load cone.

Under normal circumstances, the weight of the new reinforced concrete prefabricated parts can be calculated according to the specific gravity of 24kN/m3.

In the case of high-density reinforced concrete precasts, the weight calculated by the specific gravity of 25 kN/m3 plus 70% of the weight of the steel bar is the weight of the preform.

Number and positioning of hangers

The number of slings is determined by the number of rivets used. If more than 3 slings are likely to generate static uncertainty, appropriate methods (eg, using distribution beams, pulleys, etc.) are required to ensure that all branches are equally loaded.

Wherever possible, more than one rivet shall be applied and the shank shall be positioned at a position where the line between them intersects the center of gravity of the preform. If this principle cannot be followed for special reasons, then depending on the distance between the peg and the center of gravity, the side pull will increase and will act on each peg.

Rust protection

Generally, the nails are exposed to the environment before and after use, so it is necessary to deal with the rust prevention problem. After the nail is used, it will remain in the preform forever. If the nail is exposed, it is necessary to cover the surface with mortar in time. The cover specification depends on the construction specifications. It is also possible to use bolsters of different materials and techniques to deal with rust prevention problems, as detailed in the table below.

5.Installation and use

The round head rivet is placed in the mold through a semi-circular concave ferrule (commonly known as "adhesive" or "hemispherical rubber sleeve"). The concave ferrule functions as a fixed sling and forms a joint for forming a universal joint after the preform is formed (commonly known as " Concave surface of the hoisting jack" and "lifting clutch". Therefore, components of different load levels cannot be replaced with each other because of different design dimensions.

Another advantage is that the universal joint is supported by concrete when slanting, and the horizontal load is directly transmitted into the concrete. Therefore, when it is applied to a large and thin object, it is not necessary to convert the carrying capacity as with the sleeve lifting nail, and no additional reinforcement is required.

For example, slanting narrow and long prefabricated parts, additional steel bars must be placed in thin wall objects to adjust for possible lateral pulling forces.

After the wallboard prefabricated parts are cast flat, they need to be erected in an upright position for easy placement. This type of lifting requires component assistance to prevent damage and falling accidents when the component is turned over. We recommend using a prefabricated turning machine to place the wall panel vertically to reduce the risk of damage.
