1. Embedment Plates Introduction:

Embed plates are an essential part of the construction industry and can be used anytime steel needs to be joined to a concrete panel or slab. An embed is a fixture, a metal product that is installed before concrete is poured. They are anchors in concrete that are used to transfer structural loads through tension, shear, or a combination thereof. Steel embeds are primarily used as connections to structural steel frames, facade and curtain wall systems, elevator guides, and steel or prefabricated stairs.

In a precast site, embeds are set into columns, beams, double tees, and other miscellaneous items. When studs are welded inside angle steel, they are called curb anchors and are used to strengthen the exposed edge of the concrete and are therefore used heavily in dock-type structures. 2. Technical measures:

 * Before the installation of embedded bolts and embedded parts, technical personnel shall make detailed disclosure to the construction team, and check the specifications, quantity and diameter of bolts and embedded parts.

* When pouring concrete, the vibrator shall not collide with the fixing frame, and it is not allowed to pour concrete against bolts and embedded parts.

* After concrete pouring, retest the actual value and deviation of bolts in time, and make records, and take measures to adjust the deviation beyond the allowable deviation until it meets the design requirements.

* To prevent pollution or corrosion, before and after concrete pouring, wrap the nuts of anchor bolts with oil level or other materials.

* Before concrete pouring, bolts and embedded parts should be inspected and accepted by supervision and quality personnel, and concrete can be poured only after they are confirmed to be qualified and signed.
