The erection anchor is designed for use with precast units during the lifting and turning/edge handling process. If desired, the anchor uses a shear plate and tension bar that wraps through the anchor to distribute the load in the concrete. Erection anchor allow the lifting of columns, beams, walls, and other precast concrete elements. The mounting anchors can be used in all lifting directions and for lifting angles up to 90 degrees.

Erection Anchor Description

The erection anchor is designed for use with precast units during the lifting and turning/edge handling process. If desired, the anchor uses a shear plate and tension bar that wraps through the anchor to distribute the load in the concrete. Erection anchors allow the lifting of columns, beams, walls, and other precast concrete elements. The mounting anchors can be used in all lifting directions and for lifting angles up to 90 degrees. GME has various styles of erection anchors. The style, size, and tonnage of the installation anchor are the same as ALP, but our price is more than half cheaper than ALP. We only accept wholesale, not retail. If you are interested.

Tech Erection Anchor

Designed for horizontal to vertical edge lifting and handling of thin-walled precast elements. We offer 2T, 4T, and 8T capacities. This anchor requires a shear rod. The T-Bar Anchor is designed to maximize tension capacities by using a solid steel bar, placed horizontally through the bottom of the anchor. The compact design

comes in a variety of lengths and maybe ''wet-set", further improving the versatility and the ease of use. A 3/8minimum coverage at the bottom of the anchor is recommended. Designed for surface applications, used to "back-strip" panels from forms. The shear capacity allows T-Bar Anchors to be used for rotation to vertical.

Two-Hole Anchors

The Two-Hole Anchors are used as an economical way to achieve high-tension loads in thin panels or low-compressive-strength concrete. The Two-Hole Anchor requires a tension bar in the bottom hole of the anchor to distribute the tension forces deep in the concrete. The tension bar must be positioned and secured against the bottom of the tension bar hole to ensure immediate engagement of the anchor when the load is applied.

Plate Anchors

The Plate Anchors are designed for the back-stripping of panels from the form. The Plate Anchors are designed with a plate welded to the bottom to provide a high capacity in a low-profile anchor. The bottom plate allows reinforcing to be applied to the anchor as shown in the below diagram to maximize the capacity.
